The IC course helped
me work through past emotional traumas that have been the driving force
behind my adult issues. I realized where I suffered from faulty thinking and
behavior that held me back from truly finding the confidence to live as an
emotionally grounded and independent adult. I learned so much about myself
in this class and about my family’s past. I learned how to forgive myself
for my mistakes and not take responsibility for the mistakes of others. I
learned how to set healthy limits for myself and others and be responsible
for my own feelings. I developed the skills to be emotionally honest with
myself and others, process my feelings, and better cope with the challenges
of life’s ups and downs. I no longer feel helpless. I now have the tools to
live a more healthy life thanks to the IC class.
